Full post production on 6 x 30-minute sketch shows for David Walliams’ comedy series, joined by different guests in each variety sketch.

David Walliams is joined by a different guest star each episode for a variety of sketches, alongside a talented supporting cast.

DoP Martin Hawkins and colourist Nuala Sheridan worked closely to create the look for the series; contrasting studio sketches against the sketches based on popular shows. Sheridan used Film Emulation LUTs to create rich looks for the sketches as well as introducing mixed temperature lighting with shafts of warm light through cold dimly lit interiors to ensure the skin tones popped. Additionally, Sheridan used Digital Vision’s Nucoda DVO Toolset, 'Clarity' to reduce noise when needed.

Using Avid DS, online and VFX Editor Barney Jordan completed the online alongside designing and creating graphics throughout the series. Researching into the different styles of sketches was crucial to creatively construct title sequences and on screen graphics to help package the sketches. Furthermore, green screen compositing was used to achieve the appearance of realistic locations.

Nick Fry mixed the audio using Pro Tools 12.

Post produced by Chris Evans.
