Winners of the WFTV Lifetime shorts competition are announced by A+E Networks and WFTV


A huge Farm congratulations to Lauren Morton and the creative’s involved with Morton’s short film for being announced as one of the chosen lifetime shorts winners with, 3,217.

Lauren Morton, one of our wonderful receptionists and adventurer created a short film and worked with a full Farm creative (nearly all-female) team including. Nuala Sheridan graded the short film using Digital Vision’s Nucoda. Ally Morgan edited the short film with Bex Murray and Olivia Vergnon finishing the edit using Avid Symphony. Tristan Powell mixed the audio using Pro Tools 12.

The WFTV Lifetime Shorts Competition is part of Broad Focus initiative to celebrate and promote the work of women behind the camera. This year, almost 200 UK-based film-makers entered the competition!

Seven winning films were selected by a prestigious, industry based, judging panel including: Women in Film & TV UK (WFTV UK) CEO Kate Kinninmont; WFTV UK Chair and producer Cassandra Siggsgard; actor and producer Michelle Collins; director Destiny Ekaragha; General Manager UK at A+E Networks, Heather Jones and Morton’s short film, 3,217 was amongst the brilliant selection.

The overall winner will be announced on 22nd November at London’s iconic Curzon Soho after all sven short films are showcased.
