This week in the spotlight is one of Farm London's Post Producers, Yasmin Amey.
Yasmin is the post producing queen of entertainment shows such as The Masked Singer, Ru Pauls Drag Race and I Can See Your Voice.
How did you become a Farmer?
I did a week's work experience whilst I was at university and then applied as a runner just before I graduated. My first week was during Glastonbury so everyone was off on holiday - I was literally thrown straight into the deep end of tea and coffee making!
What is the best part of your job?
Being able to meet and work with so many different people... and getting to enjoy the Friday Booze Trolley - obvs!
What have you missed most in Lockdown?
Pub, seeing friends, holidays... did I mention the pub?!
What’s the one thing that most people do not know about you?
When I was a child, I used to appear in a few magazines of 'I Love Pop'. I was the girl that would show people how to follow certain dance steps so you can dance like Britney\S Club 7\Sugarbabes etc... I was probably 8/9 years old at the time!
What’s the last thing that made you smile?
Sending and receiving funny Memes\GIF's over Teams! If you know me, you'll know I love a good GIF... they brighten up everyone's day!
The funniest thing that’s happened to you at the Farm?
Oh wow, there have been so many things! Either singing Karaoke songs (terribly) at Farm parties, being known as The Farm pick locker since I have pick locked my way through various beer and wine fridges with people (I should add that I get asked to do this, I don't just go rogue). Also, probably that one time Bryan Adams flirted with me when I was a runner (I do like his music so was very flattered!).
How do you unwind and de-stress after a busy day?
Either by going to the pub or having a hot bath with a glass of red wine, candles, watching an episode of Friends.
What three words best describe you?
Happy, Bubbly, Kind.
Your favourite Farm Animal?
Got to be a Llama!
