This week in the spotlight is Bristol's very own Online Editor, George Winfield.
George is normally stuck in an edit suite working on our great entertainment shows such as, Micheal McIntyre and The Masked Singer, but what really goes on in his head?
How did you become a Farmer?
On a summer Friday afternoon I cold-called The Farm, I then danced in reception, I then made a cocktail. I started on the following Monday.
What is the best part of your job?
I get to do something I enjoy and with so many amazingly talented colleagues. It keeps me on my toes and I’m forever learning.
What have you missed most in Lockdown?
The atmosphere in a pub, I’d happily not find a seat. And of course, family.
What’s the one thing that most people do not know about you?
For most of my young life I wanted to be an RAF pilot.
What’s the last thing that made you smile?
My son not waking up before 7 am.
The funniest thing that’s happened to you at the Farm?
Haha, I can’t say.
How do you unwind and de-stress after a busy day?
I took Del Shoebridge’s advice. Try and do your exercise on the way and back from work. I’m blessed that my commute is on the bike, that really helps clear the stress before I’m home.
What three words best describe you?
Motivated, lazy, and hopefully helpful.
Your favourite Farm Animal?
It’s got to be a Duck.
