This week in the spotlight is London's cheeky chap, Gary Kelly.
Gary is Dubbing Mixer based in London, mixing programmes such as The Trump Show, Joe Lycett's Got Your Back and Joanna Lumley's Home Sweet Home.
How did you become a Farmer?
My Dad got sick of employing me and told me to get a ‘proper job’. The moniker of ‘London’s best-educated roofer’ had long worn thin anyway so I went to Soho and got employed to make tea and toast for people.
What is the best part of your job?
Free tea and toast!
What have you missed most in lockdown?
Resenting those who are free to be outdoors while I’m cooped up in a room with no natural light.
What’s the one thing that most people do not know about you?
Whether I’m joking.
What’s the last thing that made you smile?
My wife’s text this morning telling me how annoying it is when I put empty stuff back in its place rather than throwing it away (she had just discovered the last milk carton in the fridge was empty while trying to make her morning bowl of cereal).
The funniest thing that’s happened to you at The Farm?
A great number of happenings have occurred at the Xmas parties over the years... none of which I shall be disclosing!
How do you unwind and de-stress after a busy day?
Camomile tea, lavender bath, tea light candles.
What three words best describe you?
Amazing. Inspiring. Modest.
Your favourite Farm Animal?
Goats that shout like humans.
