We are looking for a great full time Technical Operator to join our Fremantle Post Production team!

The position would be perfect for someone in Edit Support looking for a new challenge as we work towards expanding into a brand new facility.  

You will work within a team of experienced and motivated production and technical staff, serving the Production labels under Fremantle.

Being an in-house operation you have the opportunity to build great working relationships with clients as we work with them across a wide range of their UK and International output.

Knowledge of current camera formats and the ability to deal with various codecs

Conform and prep for grade experience

You will work directly and collaboratively with project clients as well as managing and briefing the team of compositors, regularly providing constructive feedback. You will pride yourself on consistency, developing production methodologies and problem solving, as well as having a creative approach. You will also assist with managing the production workflow and pipeline, together with the production bidding for both current and future projects

Must Have

  • Solid experience of the VFX industry in supervisory roles
  • Advanced experience in using Shotgun and Nuke
  • Experience quoting
  • Critical eye for detail and ability to communicate visual aspects to the team
  • Experience in project management, balancing quality with time constraints

You will have several years’ experience in a VFX and / or Post Production environment, and will be fully conversant with Nuke and compositing techniques, Maya CG, and the Adobe Creative Suite. A strong Creative / Design flair would be a distinct advantage, and you will be happy working collaboratively in a team, as well as working independently.

 

We produce a wide variety of VFX content, for TV and Film, Advertising and Corporate, within a busy and friendly central Manchester.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Payroll and HR Administrator to join our small, closely-knit team in our main Fitzrovia office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, responsible for payroll processing and providing HR generalist support to people of all levels. 

Your day to day responsibilities will include payroll administration and pension preparation as well as employee lifecycle administration, such as producing contracts and internal change letters and helping the team make sure our files and systems are up to date. You will be a key point of contact for payroll and HR queries.

 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the role includes:

  • Responsible for UK payroll processing and administration, with support from HR Manager, CFO and managed-service payroll provider
  • Review timesheets, checking for accuracy for hourly wage employees
  • Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
  • Manage the payroll adhoc and be first point of call for payroll related questions (e.g. wages, payslip and deduction queries)
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures in compliance with relevant law
  • Prepare P11D forms, ensuring payment to HMRC is complete, accurate and timely
  • Administering and managing the HR payroll process, making sure that all payroll information is accurate and processed in time for payroll deadlines
  • Produce relevant HR reports on HR metrics (e.g. turnover and absence rates), with support from HR Manager
  • Produce HR documentation including contracts, salary change letters and amend where necessary
  • Support the HR manager with other projects as needed

 Your experience:

  • You’re passionate about people and have a strong desire to build a great place to work
  • Solid experience in a Payroll and HR Administrator role
  • Experienced in using software, knowledge of ADP or SAP an advantage
  • Good attention to detail and demonstrable planning and organising skills
