Indian Summers
Series 1-2

New Productions Channel 4 06.02.16

Picture and audio post production on 8 x 60 min and 2 x 90 min drama series for Channel 4.

Set in the summer of 1932, this epic period drama follows the final years of British colonial rule in India. India dreams of independence, but the British are clinging to power.

Aidan Farrell graded the series with the Nucoda Film Master, to create a period drama guise but with a fresh and modern look to this genre. By using heightened colours and hues, with very strong contrasts and shadows Farrell, created an atmosphere that complimented the content of the series.
Shot on the Red Epic and Dragon cameras, Farrell graded the R3D files on the film master and in addition used several Sapphire Plug-ins to create glares, glows, glints and flares throughout.

Nigel Edwards mixed the audio in Pro Tools 11, and used the latest plug-ins to remove modern ambiences and wildlife from the location sound.

Clyde Kellett completed the online in DS Nitris.
